We are committed to training the next generation of scientists and engineers. To facilitate access to hands-on learning in STEM, we created the BioBits kits. BioBits kits are low-cost, just-add-water educational kits that teach cutting edge topics (e.g., CRISPR) by engaging the senses.

We are proud to participate in Stanford Department of Chemistry’s Inspiring Future Scientists through Shadowing (IFSS) program. IFSS is a two-week, tuition-free summer program designed to give local rising high school juniors and seniors direct exposure to cutting-edge chemical research by shadowing multiple graduate student and postdoc mentors from multiple research groups. In Summer 2026, all students in the IFSS program experimented with the BioBits kits to learn about protein expression and biological circuitry.
